For my final project in the Collegiate world, I decided to present a new play for its world premier. Davis’ People Eater spoke to my desperation for a simpler life, and I thought the piece would be an interesting challenge, exercising my ability to create an environment that my ensemble could thrive in. It broke me out of my comfort zone in terms of genre, and gave my team and me plenty to play with.
